Connected systems
Buffalo Mountain, Devil Anse, Rockhouse and Braveheart connect, so you can ride between them without loading the trailer. The Authority puts the connected group at over 300 miles. Follow the three-day Williamson ride plan.
Who it suits
Blue trails make up the largest share of Devil Anse. Green trails give riders easier options, but a route can also include black, red/black or single track. Pick the whole route by its ratings before setting out. The single track gives experienced dirt-bike riders another option.
Food and fuel in Matewan
The system has direct access to gas, food and lodging in Matewan. That makes town a useful supply stop when planning a ride through the connected systems. Use the marked connector for your return to town.
Vehicles and trail signs
Devil Anse is closed to full-size ORVs such as Jeeps and trucks. UTVs may use green and blue trails, plus the Most Difficult trails signed for UTV use. Check the vehicle signs as well as the difficulty rating at each turn.
